Shannen and Jamie’s wedding at The Old Kent Barn was the perfect mix of relaxed fun and emotional moments — with their dog Barney making a VIP appearance during the drinks reception. Shannen got ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids, while Jamie arrived with his groomsmen, cracked open a beer, and got ready overlooking the garden. The girls took the signature white TOKB taxi (for all of 20 seconds!) before walking to the ceremony pavilion, where they had a personal ceremony with one reading and a joyful confetti tunnel straight after. We gathered all the guests for one big group shot, then everyone headed into a laid-back drinks reception where people were happy to be photographed — always a treat! Barney joined in for some portraits and generally made everyone smile.

As the sun dipped, we headed out for golden hour portraits and a champagne spray with the bridal party that was pure chaos in the best way. Jamie, who’d been nervous about his speech, absolutely smashed it — a perfect mix of heartfelt and hilarious. Their first dance was to Always Attract by You Me At Six, setting the tone for the evening perfectly before the band, Pulse, kicked off and filled the dance floor. Honestly, one of the best live bands I’ve seen at a wedding. From start to finish, the day felt easygoing and full of personality — the kind of wedding that reminds you why you love this job.
