    “I don’t even know where to start with James, but I thank my lucky stars that we found him to photograph our day. Not only are the photos he delivered beyond what we could have imagined, but it was an absolute delight to have him join us on our wedding day.

    All our guests have commented on how lovely James was, and also how nonintrusive he was, always around but never interfering with the flow of the day. We chose James because his portfolio has such a raw, fun, authentic quality, and now I can understand why. Instead of artificially staging moments to capture, James gave us the prompting and space to actually create them. For example, the photos we have with our bridesmaids and groomsmen, I will remember forever. James prompted us to ask if we wanted some time together (which of course we did) so we grabbed some drinks just as the sun was beginning to set and went for a walk down to the gardens. As we did so, James put music from our favourite band on his mini speaker (which he had taken note of from our entrance music) and I just remember having a blast, dancing, and singing with my favourite people while James shot away with his camera. When I look back on those photos, those smiles are 100% real and that means so much to us to have captured that as a memory.

    We told James that we were really keen to experiment with some more artistic shots and boy did he deliver. Taking shots in mirror reflections, experimenting with light, taking some incredible Instax shots (which we now have framed in our hallway) – James did it all.

    We are so grateful to James for not only capturing our day so beautifully, but adding to it in so many ways with his presence. We cannot recommend him highly enough.”
