Getting married in Ashford



Ashford isn’t the most obvious destination for a Kent wedding, but it has two venues worth knowing about. Eastwell Manor is one of those genuinely grand country house hotels — the kind of place where the grounds alone make the pictures. The Secret Garden is the complete opposite: intimate, walled Victorian garden, very different feel. Both are worth considering depending on the day you want.

How I Work on Your Wedding Day

My approach is documentary — I work quietly through your day, staying out of the way and letting things happen naturally. I’m not going to pause your wedding every ten minutes for formal shots. I’ll be there from getting ready through to the dancing, catching real moments as they unfold. I do a short couples portrait session — usually around golden hour — but beyond that, it’s all captured as it happens.
