Deal Wedding Photographer
Photographing your wedding in Deal
Deal is probably the most underrated town in Kent for a wedding. It’s got a stretch of Georgian seafront, a shingle beach, real character — and it never feels touristy. Ripple Court Estate is in the countryside just outside, and Deal Town Hall right in the centre is genuinely distinctive. Two very different options depending on the day you want.

How I Work
My approach is documentary — I work quietly through your day, staying out of the way and letting things happen naturally. I’m not going to pause your wedding every ten minutes for formal shots. I’ll be there from getting ready through to the dancing, catching real moments as they unfold. I do a short couples portrait session — usually around golden hour — but beyond that, it’s all captured as it happens.
Relaxed. Unscripted. Honestly documented.

Top Wedding Venues in Deal
Two very different venues in Deal — one in the countryside, one right in the town centre. For more across the county, see my Top Kent Wedding Venues guide.
1. Ripple court Estate
Ripple Court Estate is a countryside manor just outside Deal — exclusive hire, beautiful gardens, and a calm setting that feels properly secluded. Good for couples who want something intimate and away from it all. The grounds give you a lot to work with for portraits. I’ve written a full Ripple Court Estate venue guide if you want more detail.
2. Deal Town Hall
Deal Town Hall is a historic and charming venue in the heart of Deal, offering a genuinely special setting for your wedding. You can exchange vows in the elegant council chamber, surrounded by stunning period architecture and the rich history of the town. Perfect for intimate indoor ceremonies with real character.
