The hotel is minutes away from the cathedral, making it a perfect spot for couples looking to explore this historic city on their wedding day. The reception desk at the Abode offers a warm welcome, and the hotel’s individually designed bedrooms and contemporary bathrooms provide a stylish place for guests to stay.

One of the unique perks of having a wedding at Abode Canterbury is that it’s right on the high street, meaning transport options are plentiful, and your guests won’t need to worry about car parking or getting stranded in a remote location. The hotel’s champagne bar is a fantastic place for post-ceremony celebrations, allowing your guests to relax while enjoying the bustling vibe of the city.

As a Canterbury wedding photographer, it took me only 15 minutes to get to the venue, making the day stress-free from the start. Prep was just a short walk away, so the entire wedding day was incredibly relaxed. Rio & George were the perfect couple to photograph, and their day reflected all the charm of this historic Canterbury location.
